Decided to have a few days in London. Mainly to see the Abba show, which was absolutely brilliant and I would go again. So clever and well presented with a live band. Stunning evening.

Spent the rest of the time just wandering around the streets in central London taking in the atmosphere. It’s such an amazing city with things to see and do around every corner. One thing we visited that we would recommend is the Museum of the Home. This is free to visit and has a series of rooms through the ages. There are also gardens and an Alms house that you can have a guided tour of. Spent time looking for penguins on a ‘discovery’ trail, visited the Roman amphitheatre and Fortnum & Mason.
On the last day we went to Covent Garden, had a mooch around before meeting friends. Spent a comfortable and enjoyable few hours in the pub with Colin and Paula (always good to see them) before meeting Iain at King’s Cross for a busy train ride back to Peterborough.
